DISCLAIMER: I was given these products for free for testing purposes.

This was my first Vox Box from Influenster and I was very excited to be chosen for this campaign. The picture above shows the items I received, and yes, they are full-sized! If you want to see my unboxing, click here.

To use the products is fairly simple:

  • To start, wash your hair with the Brilliant Brunette Visibly Deeper Colour Defining Shampoo.
  • After shampoo, you use the Brilliant Brunette Visibly Deeper Colour Defining Treatment. You comb it through your hair and leave it in for five minutes, or ten minutes if you prefer a darker look.
  • Finally, use the Brilliant Brunette Visibly Deeper Colour Defining Conditioner.

*You do not use the colour treatment every day. You can use the shampoo and conditioner every day to gradually deepen your colour.

RESULTS: I did not take pictures because I couldn’t get the lighting to work, and my hair is already pretty dark. After shampoo/conditioning four times, and shampoo/treatment/conditioning once, my hair was a little darker, but what I noticed was that it highlighted the different shades of brown in my hair. It gave my colour some depth, which I really like. My hair was dyed three months ago, so maybe the results would be a lot more effective on non-dyed hair.

OVERALL: I would recommend it if you are looking for a quick touch-up between dyes, or want to add depth to your current brown hair colour. If I have any more updates about the product, it will be on my social media.

TIPS: Make sure to wash your hands immediately after using the colour treatment. It took some scrubbing, but it did all come off. I would also recommend taking off any jewellery to protect it from the ingredients inside of the colour treatment, just to be safe.
